Audio Technica ATH-M50's and Denon AH-D2000's. If anyone ever plans on investing any money into a good pair of headphones, especially for electronic music, i'd easily recommend both. Though i haven't really touched my ATH-M50's since i got my Denons, they are still a great set of headphones. I just can't bring myself to listen to anything besides my D2000's.

been using these for a while now, and stick to them now. Some trouble have come with the cords, and have had a few dud pairs here and there, but last pair I got has been going strong.

Pretty good, except I have to say the bass is a little bit too much. The chord is short though, too short for a jacket pocket, so on the go, I'll sometimes steal these from one of my family members (there are at least two in my house). Did I say the Bose headphones had a little bit of a problem with boosting bass? Yeah, these have a lot more than a little bit of a problem, but the sound quality on both headphones is amazing, especially the Bose ones. At least they're not beats. That being said, if anyone knows of headphones that have as great separation, sound quality, and bass (without boosting it) as the bose headphones do, tell me because they're starting to fall apart and I'm a bit of a headphone n00b compared to most of you. I mean, I've never listened to ultrasounds or seinheisers so... |
