The problem with Fruity Loops is that it doesn't really lend itself to a recording solution. I can't imagine a scenario where one would be able to record and produce a song with instruments and vocals and everything entirely in Fruity Loops.
Obviously, FL isn't even marketed to that, so no points deducted there. But I like the option of being able to do anything in one program, and do it professionally. Which is why Sonar 7/8 PE stomps the hell out of FL every time.

Can you guys help me? I want to record live instruments onto FL studio, but I can't make the mic work. I've followed some youtube videos and none of them helped me. I plug my mic into a small mic port on the side of my laptop, then in Fl studio I open up the mixer (Asio4all is activated) and select my mic. It shows that no sound is being picked up.
