Got my first open headphones (bass, volume, quote, cheap)

When I came home from school today I was really excited to see that my Audio Technica ath-ad700's arrived from amazon. First impression - they are ****ing HUGE! I was surprised that they actually fit my small head. I got these to sort of replace my Sennheiser Hd280's because I wanted something lighter and something comfortable enough to wear glasses and the 'phones at the same time, and these fit the bill.

I also wanted open headphones so I can hear other people while I have them on, the Sennheisers totally block everything out (which is good at times). Sound quality is great, but they aren't broken in yet, so I can only expect them to sound better later on. I read that they were lacking in bass, but from what I hear, I really wouldn't want any more bass anyway. Too bad they make my mp3's sound like crap, even more so than the Hd280's.

Definitely recommended for someone interested in open headphones for under $100.
