Thumbs down What is the Best Production Software?

I have been using fl studio for years but i hate the sounds now, i'm really good at producing songs, but i wanna upgrade to a better program. can yall tell me the best program to use. will i need to buy a keyboard or mpc, cuz i didn't have to use one for fl studio. let me know!!

protools would be the way to go...

I would get the mbox2 at least and reason. I mean the whole version of it not adapted.

Reason would be good if you're producing strictly in the box. Protools allows it also, but is expensive. Another route would be Cakewalk's "Sonar". It has a wealth of production essentials and also allows for extensive external recording like Protools.. And it's cheaper.
