Cool Digital vs Analogue

Hi guys,

I'm studying at university at the moment and one of my assignments is to do with analogue and digital technologies and possible advantages and disadvantages of each.
I've done quite a lot of research for the topic and now am looking for some real opinions, rather then the facts that books give. It's not about one being better or worse, just some of the advantages or disadvantages you may have experienced.

I have a quick questionnaire, if any of you could fill it out in any detail that would be brilliant. Feel free to answer any/none or all of the questions, I will be grateful for any opinions at all.

Name:
Studio name: (where relevant)
Other information:

Do you currently use an analogue or digital recording desk?

Have you ever had experience with the alternate technology in a recording desk?

What do you feel are the advantages or disadvantages of the current technology that you use?

Do you feel there are any faults with your current technology that may have been rectified with previous technologies?

In your opinion is analogue better then digital or the other way around?

Do you have any other comments on technology in studios?

I really appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks very much.
