which power amp?

Right now i am trying to start holding small acoustic shows around where i live. The main thing i am using is the Behringer RX1202FX EURORACK Pro Rackmount 12-Input mixer, and i was wondering how much power i should use to hold them?

the problem is is that i don't really want to spend more money on a powered mixer because i already have a few mixers from my home studio that i could use.

oh, and i have another question. Would the Behringer RX1202FX EURORACK Pro fit with a Behringer EUROPOWER EP1500 Power Amp in a 6 space case or an 8?

I'm trying to visualize how you're intending to set this thing up...

I would assume that you use the Behringer as a sub-mixer to connect and control equipment on the stage, and the L/R output would be connected to a PA system, which is already powering the mains.
If you don't have a PA system, but you have large passive speakers, then yes, you'd need to use a power amp. I'm assuming this is how you're setting it up?

That Europower EP1500 would be more than sufficient at 700 Watts and 2 Ohms on each channel. I mean... You're doing small acoustic shows, not death metal in a stadium.

Also, I think the Eurorack takes up 3 rack spaces. From the looks of the Europower, it takes 2. You could get the 6 space rack and have a space between the two pieces of equipment for ventilation.
