I have no idea what kind of program you're talking about, and I've been singing for years. Unless you're after just a simple voice recording program? Otherwise maybe just ask your singing teacher what he/she were referring to

im a garage mc from preston, and i bought a rode NT1-A condenser mic and Tapco mix 100 mixer, pop sheild and shockmount i bought with the mic aswell. i used to record on Magix 2007 music maker and i could never get quality and levels right. the mic has had good reveiws wherever i look. for £130 it should be giving me better quality and mates have less expensive mic's and they seem to get better quality. i could do with abit of advice by someone whos knows about mics and set ups like mine and sort of in the same scene as i am. is there some hardware where i need or a better quality mixer or something i should be putting my mic through before it gets to the mixer and into the laptop. any advice is welcome please. blessed.
