Default Digidesign 002 v. MBox 2/2 Pro

Ok,

I'm an artist, and I previously used my friends studio, and I've decided I need to get my own studio.

It's all computer based (around an Apple PowerMac G4), and I've decided on Pro Tools, just not if I should Shell out some xtra and go for the 002, or go with the money I have and go for an MBox 2/Pro, etc.

I'm mainly a singer, and I use the piano to help create the music. After I lay down the Piano track and the Vocals, I just mess around with a guitar and a Bass until I find something that sounds good.

The Most i need is 2 Simultanious inputs, and I have a mixer w/ Phantom power I currently use, just to perform.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the software is the same between the 2, and I'm stuck on which one to get.

Hope my background helped out and all opinions are helpful.

Thanks,
Colt
