Digidesign 002 v. MBox 2/2 Pro
Ok,
I'm an artist, and I previously used my friends studio, and I've decided I need to get my own studio. It's all computer based (around an Apple PowerMac G4), and I've decided on Pro Tools, just not if I should Shell out some xtra and go for the 002, or go with the money I have and go for an MBox 2/Pro, etc. I'm mainly a singer, and I use the piano to help create the music. After I lay down the Piano track and the Vocals, I just mess around with a guitar and a Bass until I find something that sounds good. The Most i need is 2 Simultanious inputs, and I have a mixer w/ Phantom power I currently use, just to perform. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the software is the same between the 2, and I'm stuck on which one to get. Hope my background helped out and all opinions are helpful. Thanks, Colt

From what I've seen on each they seem to be about equal.
I personally would choose which ever setup cost less or was just more compatible with a mac.
