hmm....i'm thinking about getting an epi halfstack cuz its nice and cheap....
altho i cant tell how much power it has...
its a halfstack with 5 watts.....

Yeah they pack a ton into their amps. If you want one amp of many different sounds they are a great choice. Especially for the money. I do find that the amps that the line 6 is emulating do not measure up to the originals.

It does a great imitation of a Marshall but does not sound the same.

just tube.
as far as i've seen line 6 is only solid state arent they...?

you are right lots 'o' circuits in line six. Tries to be a million amps and usually comes up short.

Tubes are sweet for guitar. I've got two tube amps and love em both.

hmmm...i'm considering getting an epi junior valve halfstack.....

for distortion just plug in a dan electro metal pedal or a boss distortion pedal

that should keep audiences happy.

My favorite bass amps are: AWB-Workmans first, Ampeg 2nd, Fender, Crate, Pignose, etc. Its basically not the brand or effects for that matter. Its the musician behind any amp that is the best on the market.
