Dude, you're going to need to spend more than 80 dollars to get decent quality recordings.

littleknowitall 01-21-2007 11:55 AM

I know but unfortunately it's unlikwly i'll be able to scrounge together even that now, i'm desperate..

Ornette 01-21-2007 01:43 PM

Do you have mics and everything? All you're looking for is a mixer?

littleknowitall 01-21-2007 01:52 PM

basically...

Ornette 01-21-2007 02:15 PM

Then the last post on page 1 should be fine. It's possible to get good quality recordings out of pretty much anything, so best of luck to you.

littleknowitall 01-21-2007 02:28 PM

Much appreciated. :D

I really don'tee why this needed much discussion, if you n't need a pro recording just buy a $20 mic, plug it into your mp3 (Assuming it has a voice recorder, if not borrow someone elses and up it to your comp) and play away. It's not gunna be an extremely clear recording, but it's enough to work out the riff well and to put drums in behind it.

Aye but i was seeing what my options were...

djbnice1 03-05-2007 06:58 AM

yea plug straight into your comuter using acid pro or sound forge
