This question is for YOU! How do I...

Convert a WAV file to an MP3 file? Which free converters are the best quality and most useful? I've got iTunes, but its so new they have helpfully not got the convert to mp3 option on it.

Anybody who can answer me this question gets an e-kiss, or an e-pint, or both. Depends on your preference.

i use DBpowerAmp music converter, i think i downloaded the serial number off of shareaza ( i forget how i get these things, and i sure as hell don't pay for them ). can't you just write free wav to mp3 converter into google?

did that help? can i have my e-snog now? and is e-grabbing your e-ass while we're at it out of the e-question?

Cheers. Google suggested a few ways - I'd already typed exactly the same thing into it - but the ones I found all had some kind of sneaky trick like only converting 75% of the song (I could just leave 33% extra blank at the end of the recording of course). I'll try out the one you suggested, in the way you suggested it.

I suppose a promise is a promise. Just don't slip me the e-tongue.

iTunes converts songs, as does DBpoweramp. Just try out some programs.

Will Windows Media Player Convert the songs that are imported as WMA's into MP3's?

Or is there a setting I can change so that they import as MP3's?

^I haven't used it since forever but I do remember wanting to convert all my WMA's into MP3's but it said I had to buy some bullshit :(. Your best bet would be getting winamp with a crack. (I could get it for you and upload it if you want to go that path or you could go to www.dbpoweramp.com and get a trail of that)

Winblows Media Player sucks
