I don't condone that sort of idea... Fender has no place in the acoustic guitar world.... I suggest an Ibanez. and for that money you could get a low model Taylor.

I'd recommend not just going after guitars because of the name or what they look like. Find one that you like the sound and action of. Go to a music shop and try out the acoustics they have there. If you find one that you really like but its above your price range then look for it on e-bay. You can get other people to throw names and reputations around, but it you who'll be playing the thing and you who has to get on well with the guitar.
Having said that, if you're planning to sell the guitar on sometime later then going for a name brand (especially fender) will mean that the guitar will keep its price even though its second hand. |
geez thanks, giant response from above guy.

Make sure you get a sturdy one too. The bridge has started to fall off of my one, which is very rock and roll but not very practical as the strings will soon be unplayable...

heh geez, how long have you had that guitar?
