I've been asked to DJ the next tournament at the prison again. This time Dynamic Discs will be there covering the event. This is a huge step forward for our area, and we'll be sneak-peaking the new Gold course that some of my 'colleagues' have been working on (and me a little bit, I've been tasked to design/build a few small bridges for it). Personally, I have one more tournament to get through, and then I'm concentrating all my time on strength training and endurance until next spring, but this should keep me occupied on the off days. Well, besides my job anyway.

They'll be filming for a documentary about the event. Not sure about the live stream. Whoops.

This was all I had to go on until I talked with one of the organizers today.

They had a story about it in the winter edition of Disc Golf Magazine last year, so I guess this is the logical next step. There's been a lot of interest in it, and they sold all 360 card slots in 14 minutes the day registration opened.

Workin on it. Nothing fancy, and they just need something rudimentary. The idea is to keep it minimal and just have enough room to cross the small stream that bubbles up near a natural spring. We'll need to hand carry all the materials about 50 yards off the main road to assemble it, so weight is an issue. This is based off of the spare scraps we have out back. Some 36" treads made from 1" bar grating, and some C4x5.4 channel. Four small 12x6 cement piers to support it, and done.
