Euro 2020 thread
Qualifiers started this week for the European Championships, held in 12 European cities next year. Our teams began their campaigns today, Scotland haven't got off to the best of starts and are losing 3-0 to Kazakhstan, though they are guaranteed a play off spot. Northern Ireland are at home to Estonia in a few hours, they have a great chance to win and really need to if they are to qualify but it looks very difficult for the GAWA with Germany and the Netherlands in their group. Gibraltar play against the Republic of Ireland on Sunday in a tough group, best of luck to both of them, let's hope Gibraltar can at least score a goal. Wales begin their campaign on Sunday against Slovakia. It will be tough for them but they have shown they can qualify before. Up The Boyos. England play tomorrow at home to the Czech Republic, will be great to see them in action before their Nations League semi final in June. With games being hosted in London, Dublin and Glasgow, this is a fantastic opportunity for fans to see their teams in their nations. Good luck to them all. |

Really top notch performance from England tonight. Debuts for Rice and Hudson-Odoi.
Currently winning 5-0 vs Czech Republic. Sterling has scored a hat trick. I've slated his performances in the past two tournaments but its good to see him starting to become a key player for England now. Away to Montenegro on Monday evening. No complaints, this is a great time to be an England fan. |

Wales and Scotland currently winning 1-0 and still on course for qualification. England will qualify and Northern Ireland are nine points clear of the Dutch in their group albeit having played a game more, level with Germany, both on four wins and on Monday they play each other at Windsor Park. More excited about this than the England games. GAWA

England have qualified. Wales just need to beat Hungary at home tomorrow and they are there. Scotland in to the play offs. Northern Ireland are all but out, need a twelve goal swing and two results to go their way so that's over now. Republic of Ireland need to beat Denmark at home tomorrow and hope Switzerland lose. Looks difficult for them.
England will play all three group games in London, and then the semis and the final are at Wembley too. This is basically a home tournament for us. Making the final should be the aim and our squad is good enough to win imo. |

Trolls, dunno if you're following the game (though with what's at stake how could you not be?) but you've got about thirty minutes left to qualify for the Euros.
