I say he hangs it up. He's already peaked and been a World Champion [several times over]. He doesn't have anything left to prove, and he can't compete with the current top dogs. Jones is gonna piece him up. Gus is tough, and will absorb the damage. Jones will come in with his spinning elbows and elliptical kicks to the knees. Probably Jones by decision, if he can't finish the job sooner. I THINK Jones will win, but I WANT Gus to win LOL. Jones is a great fighter, but a shitty human being. |

You might be right but if it goes the distance (which I think it will) then as long as Gus keeps the cardio up he could pressure him like he was meant to after the 3rd last fight.
Jon says he has been working alot on his boxing tho so there's a factor. Also think that would only matter on the cards tho, no way Jones will KO or TKO Gus with his hands.

Cain Velasquez vs Francis Ngannou
Is a crazy match up...if Cain is anywhere near what he used to be he will win but obviously after Injuries and a long layoff who knows where's he's at that's a dangerous fight for his comeback though. |

Ngannou is his own worst enemy. If his mental game is on point, he could maul Valasquez.
On a side note, I have a truther friend, Ian Jacklin, who got to meet and train with Cain, because he is a longtime friend / opponent of Cain's coach, Javier Mendez. Ian is a former World Champion kickboxer and actor. Now he is a vaccine activist. He also got to attend the recent UFC on FOX 31 event in Milwaukee and meet and train with Duke Roufus, who has trained Alan Belcher, Stephan Bonnar, Matt Mitrione, Anthony Pettis, Jens Pulver, Ben Rothwell, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. Dana White gave Gustafsson the option to postpone his fight with Jones until March, but he declined. That would just give Jones more time to juice.
It looks like Kamaru Usman will be facing Tyron Woodley for the Welterweight title at UFC 235. If Woodley is still injured, Usman will be facing someone else for the interim belt. They haven't said who. |
