i think it's really easy to call a sport easy or say it requires less skill if you haven't played it, but once you try it your opinion is apt to change. i used to **** on golf a lot until i actually tried it a few times and realized just how difficult it is.

and esports are fake sports but they definitely require a **** ton of skills. different skills than, you know, actual sports, but still a ton of skill.
So how much skill do you expect is involved in shin kicking? Or cheese rolling?

Turkish oil wrestling? Yeah I was pretty happy when I found out too. For reasons.

i'm no tennis fan but it's a ****ing insane game. the combination of reflexes, speed, and power required. not to mention how precise you need to be with your placement.

if anyone has 10 minutes to spare and wants to see just how good you need to be to be the best football player in the world, check this out

not only the best football player, but i would also say the best technically gifted athlete. if you look at a LeBron James, Cam Newton, Mike Trout, whoever else you want to point out as an elite tier athlete, they all use their out of this world physicality to help bring them to that level. Messi doesn't have that. he's tiny, even by a footballers standards. messi doesn't have the ability to go shoulder to shoulder or out power his opponents, so instead he makes sure every other aspect of his game is as sharp as humanly possible. you have to appreciate the work he puts in.

kinda unrelated but the NFL is the worst sporting organization in the world and i've gotten tired of the drama that always surrounds everything in the league. i've watched all of 2 games this season. didn't even build a fantasy team for the first time in like 4 years.
