Yeah, I'm going to have to try and catch Real Madrid when they're on TV in the States.

This probably was Croatia's best shot. There were some really good teams this year. And Belgium did knock Brazil out.

And congrats on the Hawk award. I wasn't looking forward to his tiebreaker anyway

So much to be positive about. Best moment for me was Dier's penalty actually had a tear in my eye

Yeah, why? Argentina, Spain, Brazil all crashed out. Why shouldn't France, who are now inarguably the best team in the world, win it?

France have deserved this. Been the best team and didn't need extra time in their knockouts to win. Croatia after having an easy draw fluked it through three knockouts with extra time and penalties, had hoped we would see a decent performance from them today but it's been a poor showing and the most one sided final in 20 years. Painful to watch.

So if England had gotten to the finals and won would they have deserved it after an easy draw and losing a game just to dodge a better team?

We did get to "the finals".

And yes because they would have won. Croatia didn't win though. And all three of their knockout games were draws as well other than the final, which they lost.
