Seems like Argentina got lucky. A moment of pure magic from Messi that will have him back as the media darling back home, an incredible goal from a player who isn't known for such things, a penalty given and a penalty turned down, and VAR all over the place. Got to feel for Nigeria; they gave it their best shot and could even have upset everything right there at the end. Oh well. I'd rather see Argentina in it anyway. Can you believe someone who is now that fat used to be their greatest ever player?

Even if they win and go through, Argentina have been appalling again tonight. They look lethargic and half arsed. Pass after pass misplaced. Keep carelessly losing possession. Just awful. They look like a broken team.
