It seems like England has controlled the ball for most of the second half so far.
|
I wouldn't have left it this long to get Vardy on. Bit worried now. Step it up lads we do need to win.

2-1.
Sir Harry Edward Kane, of England, again. Proud of our team, they didn't panic, they got the goal. Well done to our players :) |
Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss three lions on a shirt neville to campbell campbell to rio vindaloooooo

Serves me right for slagging off Karen; now she feels sick and we're waiting for the traditional visit from the doctor. Again. :(
Well done England. Didn't play as well as they should have done, bit lucky if truth be told, but a great result for them. Kind of gutted for the Tunisians: they must have thought, with that penalty, they had a real chance. On yaz go lads. |
I don't think England were lucky at all to be honest. Total domination from start to finish.
If I thought the team had let themselves down, I would say. Most possession, most shots on target, created loads. Only criticism is not being ruthless enough and the silly error for the penalty. For the next game, I guess Sterling will get in as it's Panama, but I'd like to see Rashford start now and Vardy get 45 mins depending on how it is at half time. Tomorrow's games: Colombia vs Japan Poland vs Senegal Russia vs Egypt Picks in bold. |
Senegal for the sneaky 2-1 upset

I agree but I'm not worried. I would be if they weren't creating chances to miss from.
Sterling really needs to improve his finishing though it's embarrassing how bad he is. |
Egypt might be a good upset bet. The press is saying they got a real hotshot recovered from an injury.
