Yeah i understand why you'd want the French to lose Trolls but aside from that it really wasn't ball to hand as there was clear hand movement toward the ball.
It really is a clear cut penalty.

They haven't played well at all - an own goal from Croatia and then a (so far as I'm concerned - and so are the pundits on RTE) dodgy penalty. Nothing from open play, no real fluidity in their passing, a lot of long balls. They're lucky to be ahead.

Croatia lucky to only be one behind tbh deflected shot.

It sucks when you can get a penalty kick on an accidental handball. It wasn't blatant and it certainly wasn't intentional, but I guess the rules are the rules.

France have deserved this. Been the best team and didn't need extra time in their knockouts to win. Croatia after having an easy draw fluked it through three knockouts with extra time and penalties, had hoped we would see a decent performance from them today but it's been a poor showing and the most one sided final in 20 years. Painful to watch.

I have to admit France was the best team in this cup. Croatia was a gutty club that never gave up, but today, France was too much for them. Hey, at least it wasn't 7-1 like Germany-Brazil four years ago.
