The hobo guy is from Argentina so you can't blame it on us.

Congratulations to Canada, Mexico and the US, who will be hosting the World Cup in 2026.

The right choice out of the options.

Obviously all three teams qualify as hosts so Q you will get to see Canada and in your home country too.

this is a great day. i will be hosting any of the MB boys looking to come to the great white north for a few games :D

very excited for us to be a part of this. the growth of the sport in our country has been immense over the years. TFC has become one of the most popular teams in the MLS which is a pretty positive influence on it all.

Ten games in three cities in Canada, same for Mexico, USA will host the remaining 60.

48 teams, 16 groups of three. This means that one team in each group will play their first match against a team who has already played, which will be a disadvantage. I guess they may reform it.

I think it will be a good World Cup, and the facilities are already there. So looks good.

I do feel a bit annoyed that Mexico will be hosting for a third time (1970, 1986, 2026) and the USA a second (1994, 2026), all hosted since England had their only World Cup (1966). I really don't think that's fair.

I think part of the decision is based on expanding the market. Not possible in Europe any more.

But I can confirm that soccer has blown in the US, and is now one of the most popular sports. And it's only going to get bigger :soccer:
