agreed on Hart. bring him as an experienced back up if nothing else. think leaving him behind and bringing 3 very young keepers is a bit of a bad call but that’s just me. Pickford will be the number 1, yeah?

England 23 man squad:
Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Jack Butland (Stoke), Nick Pope (Burnley) Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose (both Tottenham), Harry Maguire (Leicester), Phil Jones (Man Utd), John Stones, Kyle Walker (both Man City), Gary Cahill (Chelsea) Midfielders: Jordan Henderson, (Liverpool), Eric Dier, Dele Alli (both Tottenham), Jesse Lingard, Ashley Young (both Man Utd), Fabian Delph (Man City), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea), Forwards: Raheem Sterling (Man City), Jamie Vardy (Leicester), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Marcus Rashford (Man Utd), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal). Thoughts? Anyone you wouldn't take or would have included? |

not sure about the exclusion of Wilshere, what do you lot think?
he is very creative when healthy and i think that’s one thing the midfield lacks, especially with Lallana not coming either. i like the versatility they have with the wingers though, should be a lot of room to play around if things aren’t going well. and the pace of Rashford, Sterling, and Vardy alongside a pure goal scorer like Kane excites me. will be very upsetting if this team can’t score consistently.

Not that bothered about Wilshere.
I think the squad is pretty good. Delph can create although he isn't a playmaker as such. I think people will be surprised by how good Delph is, at the moment people seem to find it funny that he's been included. I'd have been tempted to have Jack Grealish on standby tbh. |

i haven’t watched enough of Villa this season to really say but from what i’ve seen he looks like he’s not far off from being included. i just think it’s a painfully average midfield with a lot of guys who can do a little bit of a lot of things but nobody who does anything great, outside of Dele of course.

Maybe a bit too early but I really want to see him play for England. Was pleased when Delph finally got in, the cunt. |

do you think he will stay with the team for the forseable future? i imagine the phones will start ringing if he ends up proving he can perform well at the premiership level.
