When's the next game, lads? Didn't feel right somehow today turning on the telly to see no footy at all. :(

France vs Argentina Uruguay vs Portugal Just absolutely top notch fixtures. For the American banter guys if you haven't been following and are thinking of doing so, now is the time as the knockout phase starts tomorrow. This is what it's all about  England play on Tuesday. |

Our biggest game since Germany in 2010. I'm nervous already  |
Just been on Oddschecker and checked the odds for the winner.
Hawk, can you let us know the top 5 favourites and their odds with one of your American bookies? Cheers if possible. |

5 at Brazil 7/2 Spain 4/1 Belgium 13/2 England 7/1 France. 8/1 |

So we are really 4th favourites with bookies. Ahead of Argentina, Uruguay and France. Because of the draw, the bookies think we will make the semis btw (top four favourites - two on either side of the draw). |
I like England because Kane is a finisher and he’s hot at the right time and England seems like they’re emotionally in check. I took Brazil on my bracket because I don’t like to bet against history (no offense).
|
Yes, Kane is a talent. Having a striker who scores at an average of about 1 goal a game (at all levels) is massive. You're basically starting games a goal up.
No offence taken btw. I went with Brazil about 9 months ago when they had pissed it in qualifying plus I was confident they would bounce back. |

Portugal are dreadful aside from Ronaldo, whereas Uruguay are decent and have the strikers. Croatia vs Spain is a difficult one, but football is mainly a battle of midfield, and Croatia have a far superior midfield. |

Croatia and Belgium have impressed, wouldn't be surprised if they do better than my bracket says. |

But you are right games are often won in midfield. Guys should remember Colombia have a reject from the worst Aston Villa side of all time in theirs. England have the players to control it imo. |
Quite nervous for this.
I'll be gutted if Messi goes out. Unless of course it's against England in the final. Messi has had a haircut and a beard trimming. Looks smart. That's good. |
Just tuned in
France up 1-0 |
1-1, Angel di Maria
Half time. |
Messi with the assist

Argentina aren't really playing like a team that are two goals down and about to go out of the World Cup, are they? You'd think the French goal would be under siege, but they've barely had a shot. And what's the ****ing deal with Aguero? Where's that City magic??

The reason why that works out to be profitable (in the long run) casino is they collect on both sides if there’s a tie at the end of regulation. If the gambler bets on both sides he’s essentially betting against a draw. Short answer France was favored by a fairly small margin. About 20%. |

Messi got the assist for the second goal.
