he is decent i agree but no way he gets in over either of those two. i certainly appreciate experience and a veteran setting a good example but Rashford and Sterling would add much more to the game imo. you could definitely rotate between the 3 though and leave 1 of Sterling or Rashford as a late game impact sub off of the bench, Delph as a sub in close games where an experienced head would be more valuable than pace and flair.

Depends on opponent as well I guess. Delph could slot in at left back too. Rashford/Kane/Sterling front three then. Vardy in as CF if Kane isn't fit.
Don't think this World Cup will be great from a neutral perspective. Crap host selection, seems like less enthusiasm. No other teams to get behind other than England. Was really disappointed the US didn't qualify, less bants and they are one of the more interesting sides. But they blew it in a piss easy qualifying group. Fucking corn dog cunts. |

high quality team really do think the defense could be better but eh there are some good young players that should continue to grow and I really like Walker/Rose/Young in terms of fullbacks who can bring some real attacking threat.

Yeah the defence is a weakness. Which is why I'd have Terry if he agreed to return which I doubt. He has been excellent for us in the Championship, even though it is a step down in quality. At 37 you could get one more tournament. Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Thuram all defenders and played international football until around then.
I would honestly give him a call if I was Southgate. "Do you want one last tournament? No N bombs though." Make it happen Gareth. |

Actually don't mind him now. It's strange that you don't realise how good someone is until they're on your side. Class. |

We will take probably four centre backs though. You wouldn't even take him as part of the squad for back up?
Four from: Cahill, Stones, Keane, Jones, Maguire, McTominay ??? Edit: Didnt realise McTominay was a CM not a CB and he's also 'Scottish' what a nonce. |
