Maybe Costa can get a look in now. Spain kind of deserved that. They could have killed off the game, got the second goal, but they preferred to just retain the possession without any result. Needed that cushion.

Considering Russia are at home and the atmospheres the Eastern Europeans can make I think it's ridiculously quiet.
The ground must be full of people who aren't football fans. Argentina would be loud as **** if they were playing in a World Cup knockout at home. |

Russia was playing like gangbusters the first two games until Uruguay thumped them. The crowd had been pretty excited before then. I still can't help to think someone got a call from Putin who said, "You will win."
