Argentina aren't really playing like a team that are two goals down and about to go out of the World Cup, are they? You'd think the French goal would be under siege, but they've barely had a shot. And what's the ****ing deal with Aguero? Where's that City magic??

Betting on France to win pays $125 for $100 bet. That makes it sound like Argentina was the favorite but they were accepting bets for higher payouts if you bet on Argentina to win.
The reason why that works out to be profitable (in the long run) casino is they collect on both sides if there’s a tie at the end of regulation. If the gambler bets on both sides he’s essentially betting against a draw. Short answer France was favored by a fairly small margin. About 20%.
