Really? I feel like my chosen winners are obvious aside from Argentina beating France. But France are completely average and don't have Messi. Argentina are worse, but they do have him. Either way, Brazil would clearly beat both.

Portugal are dreadful aside from Ronaldo, whereas Uruguay are decent and have the strikers.

Croatia vs Spain is a difficult one, but football is mainly a battle of midfield, and Croatia have a far superior midfield.

Pretty much agree with all of this except I think Spain would have too much for Croatia even with their midfielders. It's not like Spain don't have quality midfielders plus they are stronger everywhere else on the pitch.

But you are right games are often won in midfield. Guys should remember Colombia have a reject from the worst Aston Villa side of all time in theirs. England have the players to control it imo.
