It would have been ridiculous if Mexico had gone because they've been very good.

Bottom of the group and deservedly so.

So what are England's chances at this point?

Delighted Mexico got through. I think they could do really well now.
As for Germany....

As far as i know if we lose tomorrow we have a good path to the semis.

If Brazil go out later then maybe a good path to the final.

We wont win it but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Some very good teams still in it but England have played really well and I'd back them to get to the last four maybe.
Spoiler for Fluff do not open if you're superstitious:
Possible they could even do it.... 1966/2018?

VAR has been excellent for the most part. Adds drama. What do you guys think of It?

They just need to alter it to allow teams to have appeals and not leave it to the discretion of officials I think.

I'm not sure it helps more than it hinders. It does slow down the game, but then it has resulted in some decisions that otherwise might have not only impacted games adversely, but also seen teams go out that should not have done. I think they need to streamline it, obviously; make the decisions faster and not hold up the game, but on the whole, definitely a good thing. A ref can't be everywhere at once, and everyone makes mistakes or misses things.

Don't like VAR. Only goal-line technology should be used. Have refs for a reason.
