Currently starting my "get back on the horse" routine for a November half marathon. I hadn't expected the shade from running during plague times but I never did this because it was easy.

As I get older, the runner's knee needs to be stretched and strengthened around a lot more than it ever did in my prime. That's probably the worst part.

I didn't realize VA had a particular cold but yes biking in the rain can be piercingly cold.

I think you’re in a really bad spot for nasty cold rains. Down here the water is warmer and elsewhere it’s more likely to be a relatively dry snow. You’re in the land of ice bucket challenge rainy days.
