Struggled to the game with man flu, feeling like an upset was on the cards.. and then that.

Gutted. Well done to Chelsea, and well done the lads. Took it right down to the wire.

Well done Chelsea. Won all their games against Man.Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool and scored 103 goals in one season!!! Its hard to believe though, how poor they were in the Champions League and on how many occasions throughout the season they let their advantage constantly slip in the league.

Well, that was an embarassment. Maybe if the latics didn't wilt after a key decision going against as they've done a ridiculous amount of times this season, it would've been a different story. Thank god I don't have to worry about something similar happening 'til August now.

Chelsea deserved it over the course of the season though, so hats off to them.

The title was there to win all season. It's not that Chelsea have improved, it's more that United have slipped.
I can't help feeling that with Ronaldo, United would have had the player to make the difference. As he was last season.
However, I'm not taking anything away from Chelsea.
As I said earlier...the best team always wins the league and Chelsea have proven to be this seasons best team.

Congrats to Chelsea.

Sorry to derail the thread, as this is particularly about english football, but Benfica just won the championship and people all over the country are celebrating.
So...

Instead of actually trying to replace Ronaldo (almost impossible to do) they`ve had similiar players of lesser quality or better said not as complete as Ronaldo trying to fill the void he has left. Valencia an international quality player but lacks the goals of Ronaldo, Nani just doesn`t have the consistency and amount of tricks that Ronaldo does and Tosic (I know he`s on loan at Koln) I don`t think I`ve even seen him play, but mention him as he is considered a huge prospect in Serbia and will most likely be part of their WC squad.

I think Tevez should have been kept at all costs because here is a player of Maradona style qualities that can make the difference.
