I think you`d be better off getting him than Senna.

I don`t understand why UTD would go for a 30 year old south american unproven in the premiership. Those sort of transfers never usually work out well.

Villa got a draw, shame it was after leading though... oh well, better than a loss. I never even checked the results cos I thought the outcome was pretty much self explanatory, but no! Villa pulled through. Wonder how long that's gonna continue...

'West Ham have completed the sensational double signing of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano from Corinthians on permanent contracts.
The Argentinian duo, who both starred for their country at the World Cup this summer, move to Upton Park for undisclosed fees.
A statement on the West Ham website read: "The transfers represent a massive coup for the Hammers, who have beaten off some of Europe's biggest clubs to secure the services of the duo."
"The pair have been signed for an undisclosed fee and put pen to paper on permanent contracts with the Club this afternoon. "All other aspects of the transfers will remain confidential and undisclosed."

Edit: Javier Mascherano was to be signed to United if the Hargreaves transfer didn't look like happening.

My suspicions lead me to a somewhat shadier deal being cooked up between the players’ club Corinthians, their owners MSI and another club with shady links to MSI and their owners. It’s long been rumoured that Roman Abramovich is the money man behind MSI and the reason that a broke Brazilian club like Corinthians could afford players like Tevez and Mascherano in the first place. It leaves no doubt in my mind that Chelsea and Roman are behind this proposed season long loan deal for the two Argentinians to West Ham and it’s only for one purpose - to acclimatise the players to London and the Premiership and see whether they are worth signing for Chelsea properly next summer.

Will the shit hit the fan???
