"My desire was, for some time, that Manchester had accepted my transfer to Madrid. Saying otherwise would be to trick people and my own consciousness."
In other words he wants to go but he has no chance. This will crop up again next year. Don't get me wrong. He is a phenomenal player and eminently watchable but this has only been swept under the carpet. It is still there lurking. |
He'll have to go some to reproduce last seasons form and to be honest, whether or not a move to Madrid is inevitable at the end of next season, I doubt he'll be as effective this season as he was last.
In the meantime, we'll get another year out of him, he'll probably pick up the World Player of the Year and he'll hold his value. Then he can go and join the rest of the Prima Donna circus acts at Real and join the ranks of the Galactico's and play in what they laughingly call a "team". |

You might have players to fill in for them but you don't have anyone to replace those players if they get injured or suspended.
Your biggest problem last season was your squad had no depth to it. That's why you collapsed in the second half of the season. This year you are going into it with an even thinner squad. It's take a bit more than a few fringe or youth team players to get you into the champions league. |

I want anyone & everyone on this forum to laugh at Spurs.

Fair play to Hull too. Three points on the board. Now that Villa have spent a few quid I am hoping for that fifth spot.
