i'm sure someone will say something along the lines of
"well look at who they're playing against vs who kane is playing against" but the spanish league isn't what it once was and there's not more than 4 or 5 great teams in the league, i think those numbers should really prove just how clinical he is at finishing. he's *ahem* world class. of course with the other two - messi in particular, they provide a lot more than just goal scoring. regardless, there's some definite reason to think Kane will go on to be Shearer-esque. i just hope (selfishly) that he stays in England.

Giggsy
it’s very irritating for me to watch this thing unravel because i think our fans are too critical 99% of the time. there is nothing wrong with a top 3 finish, especially with City doing their thing. what i dislike is the style of football we are playing which is just as uninspired as it was under our last couple managers and the fact that we can’t beat teams like Burnley and Leicester. he will leave us before we let him go, but i’m fine with it because i don’t think he’s a good match. spent outrageous money and what do we have for it? at least Arsenal can blame the club for not spending, we have 0 excuse.

I think the past few years are as good as it's going to get for MU.
A title challenge in there somewhere (a proper one not a Spurs one) and maybe pinch a league title if lucky. But supporters will have to accept the Ferguson era is over and the days of expecting the league every year are done. Lucky it happened now and not pre-Sky. Too much revenue to just fall away. A shame they paid most of the debt/interest off. Could have been spectacular if not. |

I have to say I think it's hilarious that Mourino is moaning that he had only X million spend while City had Y million. Ah, poor Jose! The headline on the Mirror says it all: "Rich MAN (in blue) Poor MAN (in red)"!

he’s a bum. maybe if he didn’t shell out a stupid amount of cash for an average cb like Lindelof we could’ve invested elsewhere. Lukaku was a dumb buy too, as much as i like him. we’re fine in attack but we could definitely use some help defensively.

i’m backing the fans, hoping for a real top notch performance. expect racism, violence, and alcohol to be a key factor in their ability to contribute.
