Things happen at Selhurst Park, like Eric Cantona kicking a fan, or David Beckham scoring from the halfway line (against Wimbledon when they moved in) or the flood lights getting turned off for match fixing scandals or even once a Status Quo concert in 1984.

Strange things...

Welcome to Croydon.

Probably riot free since 2011.

I wish Guns N' Roses would have came, but they've been to Wembley Stadium...

I had the tour of Wembley Stadium in 2000 with my secondary school, way cool trip, Oasis were playing that week and one of them had their own tour too and we /the Oasis guy and my class (in full school uniform) waved at each other.
Saw a lot of school stuff, was a great tour. Saw the England locker room, walked through the tunnel, saw the Royal Box and the BBC Box and everything.

That's the only time I've been to a stadium, so far.

Palace fans are probably the best in England imo.

Some guys slate them for being 'manufactured' ultras but I don't get it.

Do you want atmosphere or not.

i’m not against Palace but they have a tendancy as of late for hiring managers who i really do not like which in turn makes me want to see them relegated down to Sunderland-esque depths.

Jack Grealish finally fulfilling potential at Aston Villa | Daily Mail Online

Quote:
It is coming up to three years since Jack Grealish announced his talent to the wider world in that FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool at Wembley.

The touches, the vision, the confidence all pointed to a teenage player of supreme quality. The surge into the big time did not quite materialise as expected, however, with a number of well-documented tribulations seeing Grealish establish a different reputation.

This season though, away from the spotlight, Aston Villa’s brightest hope has begun to shine again. Grealish has been a pivotal performer in Steve Bruce’s side recording six successive Championship wins and heading into Sunday’s Second City derby — where a rare Villa Park sell-out is predicted — there is great expectation the TV cameras might capture something special again.
Decent read. Go Jack. Been excellent since he came back from injury.

Violet predicted a 1-1 draw in plug last night.

great fookin goal

btw Eriksen isn’t far off of being as good as KDB imo, amazing playmaker to have in the centre of the park.

Any club who is serious about challenging needs to break the bank and sign Harry Kane.

There are not many natural goalscorers in world football.

Kane is one of them, and one of the few players who live up to their hype.

Just hope he keeps this up. There is no reason for me to think he can't.

Kane

paying over 100 mil for Kane > signing Pogba and/or Lukaku

i know it won’t happen and i still think big Rom is a decent striker but man... why didn’t we try? obviously money is no object to us.

We haven't won six league games in a row, for at least twenty years.
Are we on the way back up, Monkey?

I have my own reasons for hating Palace. They are a) Benteke: don't like the guy, feel he's overrated. **** with Liverpool, **** with Palace. b) their ****ing fans and their cheering for goalscorers - "Goal by Wilfred Zaha. Wilfred?" and the crowd roar "ZAHA!" Yeah guys I think we know his name. Jesus! c) thier ****ing theme song. I mean "Glad All Over"? Gimme a break. Also hate Hodgson. **** them. I so wanted them to go down so I wouldn't have to hear their nonsense next season.

One good thing about them: those cheerleaders.

Do you see Kane doing a Bale, heading for the Costa del Futbal?

Also: what is this with Man City "taking a break till March"? Are they that confident/arrogant? They could really have their lead cut if United and Liverpool or Spurs step up in the interim. That ever happened before? I don't remember it, even when the title race was a done deal months prior to the end of the season...
