Great to see. I like him a lot. Doesn't mouth off, doesn't go out boozing, no neck/arm tattoos. Just a down to earth guy scoring lots of goals. All types of goals and makes it look easy.

and big ups to Villa, top flight won't feel right until they're back up there.

The club announced their intention to expand Villa Park to 60k. I've been waiting to see the North Stand rebuilt for years.

idk mate, they look absolutely atrocious so far this season. it's possible they could get above 7th by default because of how bad teams that otherwise could've finished above them are struggling, but still, they're not going much higher. newcastle gave them a run for their money. bloody newcastle.

With Coutinho staying they have some chance, but they need to get tighter at the back. They're kind of a disgrace there. They must have one of the worst defences in the league, certainly the worst of the bigger teams.

Matip is their only decent defender and he's so busy covering for the rest of the defence that it makes him look even worse. Gomez definitely has potential but he's not there yet, Clyne is alright but he's too inconsistent.

i don't care what anyone says, defence wins trophies and regardless of how good the combo of Coutinho/Firmino/Mane/Salah is, their midfield is just alright and they lack any sort of defensive presence.

speaking of Salah, i've been a bit disappointed with him in the PL so far. really rated him at Roma but all he's shown so far at Liverpool is speed. countless times he bombs down the wings only to lose the ball with a horrendous touch or smash it into the stands.

lmaoooo i’m actually embarrased for the guy

football fans and their biases towards their own teams always struck me as a little weird. i’ve had countless arguements with other United fans who refuse to acknowledge that Fellani is one the most useless, one dimensional midfielders in the Prem and is only value is in the air. maybe its cuz i’m just a supporter of the club and don’t have any sort of connection that those who were raised within the community have. still, i would rather admit obvious things than look like a moron 10 yrs later like the dude who wrote that article.
