Yeah considering how the Glazers used to operate I am surprised they are funding these signings now. They weren't particularly big net spenders when Fergie was there. They pretty much did just enough while he got the best out of his squads. But since Fergie left they have exploded in the transfer market. If they get Lukaku that's £100m+ again.

Bit late but - Bradley Lowery: Jermain Defoe pays tribute to 'best friend' - BBC News
Defoe has gone above and beyond what anyone could have expected of him. Also impressed with Hart, he was captain for England (his first time) and let Defoe swap places with him so Bradley could lead the team out. Hart will likely never get that opportunity again. |

It's madness. A well rounded player, can finish with both feet, dribble, score free kicks and heads like a God.
Only downside is confidence (and penalties). A club like Everton is right for Benteke. Palace are no better for him than we were and Liverpool's expectations are much higher. Everton is about right, he'd do well there. |

totally agree. with a strong team around him like they seem to be building, he would thrive over there.
