yeah, it's absolutely nuts to watch, especially considering the public reaction to Ranieri's sacking. a top 10 finish would not be too bad at all with how the season started.

Dele Alli just scored another gem.

How good do you lot think he can be? English players sometimes get overhyped, but this guy looks the real deal imo.

lovely goal for sure. he's only 20 years old which is crazy to think, but he and Harry Kane are definitely starting to look like the future of England.

this might be Chelsea's year but genuinely believe we're about to see a Spurs run of dominance in the prem within the next few years.

Watching the Southampton/West Brom game out of the corner of my eye. Ball heads in to the Southampton goal, I say "****! Ref! Handball! That guy handled! Clearly!"

Realised belatedly it was Fraser Forster, the goalie!

Right time as well, the move into the new ground soon. I don't think they'll dominate but they haven't reached their peak yet. They'll keep all their big hitters and Poch and should really get close to the league in the next two seasons.

In my opinion of course.

MU are doing what Liverpool did. Ferguson leaving was their Dalglish moment. Slide into relative obscurity. The glory years are over.

we're a walking example of money not buying titles. people seem to forget that our team during the Sir Alex years we're built around a wonderful youth program and some excellent signings. there's more to building a team than just hiring a good manager and splashing cash on big name players. we'll remain amongst the top for the next few years though imo simply because Man City, Liverpool, and Arsenal are struggling as well.

Who was the last top notch youth player from the academy? Brown/Fletcher?

maybe Tom Heaton or Danny Drinkwater, depending on how you rate them.

there just has not been much since the late 2000s and when we do have them we have absolutely no faith in them. See Welbeck, Januzaj, Michael Keane, etc. would absolutely love to have Keane on the team at the moment considering out fitness problems.

we're seeing the same thing atm with Timothy Fosu-Mensah. great Dutch centre mid who can play full back just as well but barely gets any time with the first team despite the schedule congestion and lack of passion displayed by a lot of our guys. the only players who came from the youth squad who are still playing with the first team is Lingard and Rashford, and they're far from stand-out talent as far as I'm concerned.
