at the start of this year i certainly would have put City and Spurs finishing above them. firmly believe it was Conte who brought the best out of every player on the pitch and allowed them to have this type of season.

i'm assuming so as well, but again i would strongly disagree. i think the results show it themselves. obviously it isn't just Conte, but if he didn't pull the team to this level, introduce them to the wing-back formation, and maximize players like Moses, Pedro, and Azpilicueta who are playing some phenomenal football, then i doubt they would be anywhere near this position.
i believe they have a very good team that is made great by their manager. also whoever has Kante wins the league by default now, two years in a row.

Kante and Luiz make their squad the best without competition. Maybe City have the second best without those two.
They have the best goalkeeper. The best CB (based on this season) in Luiz, with three other very capable ones. The best CM partnership by miles, and Kante has been probably the POTS so far. Decent wing backs which are necessary to the system. The best left winger. Two good/very good right wingers. And the best centre forward. And the best manager.

i don't disagree that they have the best team in the prem atm, but i believe it's because they have a manager who brought the best out of them. they could have just as easily ended up with a season just like the previous one had they not brought in someone who clicked so well with the squad.
in other news I think the chase for Lukaku this summer could be one of the most exciting premier league transfer sagas. also lol @ this https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...jose-mourinho/

WOW chelsea, bottle job against Palace? class
nice to see Spurs make up the 3 points as well, most people saying the league is all but decided, this will certainly make it a little more interesting though. i only bring this up to divert from the fact we drew 0-0 to west ****ing brom
