Sherwood's "We're a young team and we'll need time" is beginning to wear thin. I mean, I wouldn't mind if they made an attempt to play, but it's like they've been listening to Homer:

"Son, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try."

He actually said last season that we wouldn't be in a relegation scrap this season as he wouldn't let it happen. Now he is saying his only remit is to keep us up.

Sherwood is a chancer and we need to get rid. I am grateful he saved us last season (don't care what anyone says, he did) and got us to a cup final but it is time for him to go. He is a short term manager, getting found out this season.

This Villa era is awful and the worst in my lifetime. I will always love my Aston Villa but this is really poor. We are going to go if we stick with him.

How are Birmingham playing anyway? I kind of miss TFLS though I used to usually fall asleep when they got to Division 2. Still, it was good to be able to keep track of the teams destined to rise and also see the ones who had been relegated the previous season get on in the lower ranks. Whatever happened to BBC coverage? Lost it to Sky?

They are doing very well. Under Rowett they are a tidy team punching above their weight, he's doing a great job on very little money. I haven't watched them week in week out but try to when it doesn't clash with Villa, Demarai Gray is a player to keep an eye on.

And I think TFLS is still on the BBC?

Rowett's a really good manager. We could have done with him. Or anyone else really...

No it's not. Used to follow MOTD, not any more. Also used to be announced on MOTD, not any more. Thought they might have lost it, when last season they had that "Seven years" montage thing. Strange, since they had just changed sponsors to ... Skybet?

Cheers TH.

No idea. I only watch MOTD when Villa win. So that's once so far this season

You can just see the tabloid headlines, can't you? "Klopp at the Kop!"

Just resign yourself to our relegation, accept it and it won't hurt as much. It'll soon all be over... See they're talking about Moyes if/when Sherwood gets the push? Not that fecking Pele himself could help us at this stage!
