My point is that Lukaku is not nearly the player he promises to be as opposed to Costa who has probably peaked. See, at this point only one of the two players has a proven record of scoring in the Premier League, many big names have come into England with great scoring levels and not measured up, heck many players have done this for Chelsea Shevchenko, Crespo, Eto'o, Kezman, Pizzaro, Quaresma and even Torres who had a proven scoring record in England, couldn't get it done. Why would anyone think Costa would be any different. Arguably the only striker who has performed for Chelsea in the last 10 years is Didier Drogba. Also, Chelsea paid £18m to sign Lukaku when he was a complete unknown, that Everton paid only £10m more three years later after he is a regular for his country and has proven himself in the Premier League is a great piece of business. Mourinho will be kicking himself come this time next year (if he still has a job) |

Looking forward to MOTD2 tonight, didn't see any of the matches but happy Sterling and Sturridge are carrying last season's form into this.
Grealish aside, is there a better teenager in world football than Raheem Sterling? |

Liverpool & AC Milan agree a £16m fee for Balotelli.
My don Wengy knows what's popping by not going for him >>> Sanchez will outscore him. Balotelli supposedly is an AC fan anyway why can he not make it work there? |

he's one of those players I don't think will ever reach his full potential because he's such an oddball.
He can't be tamed or disciplined. I'm all for him coming to the Premier League, he's one of the best entertainers in football, but he's not a replacement for Suarez. Although to be fair, how many people are? |

Sturridge will do his bit and I'm confident Raheem Sterling will push on as well. You can't replace players like Luisito but Liverpool's signings have just been underwhelming.
& it sums Balotelli up really when he can't even put the effort in for his boyhood club and they end up selling for £16m. You just don't sell world class strikers for £16m. Something isn't right there. He will probably hit the ground running and score 5 or 6 in a month then the goals will dry up and he'll be off after two seasons. Liverpool would have been better off going for Benteke. |
