Liverpool are 3/1 3rd favourites, tenner returns £40. (Chelsea 2/1, tenner returns £30) They are right in it. They need to take each game at a time though. Cardiff (A) Sunderland (H) Tottenham (H) West Ham (A) Man. City (H) Norwich (A) Chelsea (H) Crystal Palace (A) Newcastle (H) Hard for me to view this unbiased though because I want them to pull it off. Cardiff is a banana skin game. They'll beat Sunderland and Tottenham at home and if they're still within a point of the top by the time Man. City/Chelsea go to Anfield they'll beat those too. I honestly think they'll do it, & if they do it'll be the best title win of the new millennium. |

I think they have a great chance for the first time since I started getting into footy (about 1990). As long as they can keep Suarez fit that is. I know they're not a one-man team but he's really the lynchpin that the team performance swings around. If he's not scoring he's arranging, assisting, getting into shooting positions or marshalling the team. It's like Utd with Van Persie out now for the rest of the season is it? They're going to struggle even more than they were already now without him, even given the huge psychological boost this week in Europe.
Personally I'd love to see Liverpool do it. About time someone from outside of Manchester or London had a shot.

2009 they finished four points off but that doesn't tell the whole story, beginning of April they were one point behind. The title was pretty much won in the infamous Macheda game (you know the one)
When they beat Fulham away (Liverpool) they were singing 'We're gonna win the league, and now you're gonna believe us' Liverpool vs Fulham - 04/04/09 - We're gonna win the league - YouTube |

Liverpool playing the other two at home though, that's a big advantage. As much as I dislike the scousers they are in a league of their own when it comes to this sort of shit.
4-0 Chelsea half time. Disgusting performance. |
