Please, no reminders. I'd like to think in hindsight that loss was worth it for getting Joe ****ing Kinnear out of our club, fingers crossed for good, but that would be clutching at straws. I'm not really anti-pards but he can't get us fired up for derby day at all and Poyet has his number, 4-0 now or something ridiculous.
This season is now just depression mode. Once again at the start of the window we are one or two quality players short of a very good first XI capable of battling out for at least a europa spot and instead we sell one of our best players and don't even make a half hearted effort to replace him. The season is over now, we're safe in mid table exactly where our owner wants us. Transfer League Table Last Five Seasons | League Tables This link just hurts. It's one thing to not compete with playboy billionaires but when we can't even compete with Stoke or Southampton it's a total joke. 45 million in the black and we're potentially losing all four of our strikers this summer (two are on loan anyway, one end of contract, one out of favour/wanted by russians). Is there any plan to bring in a good minded DoF and give us a long term vision and a plan? (that's all we want, not instant success) Is there ****. Rant over. |

EXPLOSIVE! Mourinho says Wenger is a specialist in failure - YouTube That comment 'Wenger is a specialist in failure' It's up there with the voyeur comment. Mourinho hates Wenger, there was some venom in that. |

A: Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iceland, Latvia, Turkey, Czech Republic
B: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Andorra, Cyprus, Wales, Israel, Belgium C: Spain, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Belarus, Slovakia, Ukraine D: Germany, Gibraltar, Georgia, Scotland, Poland, Republic of Ireland E: England, San Marino, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Switzerland F: Greece, Faroe Islands, Northern Ireland, Finland, Romania, Hungary G: Russia, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, Austria, Sweden H: Italy, Malta, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Norway, Croatia I: Portugal, Albania, Armenia, Serbia, Denmark Euro 2016 qualifying groups. France are in group I but have already qualified so the matches are basically friendlies. We will top our group with games to spare. Scotland & Ireland are up against it. Top 2 teams qualify automatically with the 3rd going through play offs so Scotland should be aiming to qualify for this really. Wales will probably make it as well. |

We do have a very easy group, the Swiss have a few decent players but their world ranking says more about the FIFA point ranking system than it does about their actual pedigree. On the flip side it means there isn't a single match I'm going to look forward to.
The fact that France have qualified but are going to play in their group games is ridiculous as well, Platini is such a fanny. What did you make of the weekend's game btw? I thought it was a pretty dire match for 60 minutes or so but thought we deserved the win on balance even if it was a last minute goal. Your namesake didn't seem too interested! |
