Scholes and Lampard would have been a much worse CM pairing than a prime Gerrard and Lampard.
Obviously should have been a trio though, rather than one playing out on the left/right.

Aye, completely sh*t my pants when it happened. He's so important to us.
Also, Cabaye links are hotting up. Would be a sensational signing. Perfect type of midfielder for us, even if there's better out there (Gundogan, for example).

Arsenal would be welcome to Cabaye if it meant 20 mil of funds would be reinvested into the areas where we actually need players, but as usual I'm expecting **** all in him to be sold on deadline day.
He sulked all last year as well, zero professionalism from the prick really. |
