I see what he's saying though, they did spend a lot of time in our half especially from the 2nd half onward. They hit the post once (but so did we with Delph remember), but had they scored the chance that Guzan pushed on to the post or Rosicky's one on one then they more than likely would have won as they'd have had the momentum and they'd have smelled blood. Such fine margins in football.

The win was deserved though, we had plenty of chances (Tekkers hitting it wide on the break not long before Luna scored, Chez' moment of madness, think Weimann missed one too), I saw the 2nd pen last night and the lad took Gabby's other leg with his knee. Was a pen.

One game mate. Thing is people will pay it too. It's criminal they can charge that and be so frugal buying players.

He's an English great, dunno about all-time. How many players would make it into that group (I'd guess around 50?)?

If Lampard is an all-time great then Gerrard has to be as well and I don't think he is.

He's not. He's probably on the tier below with Del Piero, Giggs, Nedved, Davids, Totti... Great players who were among the best of their generation but not quite the cutting edge of the sport.

Can't limit terms like "all-time great" to your personal favourite ten players. I would say something like the Top 10-15 best players in their position/style ever could be regarded as all-time greats.

Seems too many to be honest.

Same with the term 'world class', that's used too much. I reckon there's only about 10 players who are worthy of that term.
