Ken Bates, he WAS our chairman/owner up until a week ago. He's been kicked out by the new owners, along with two of his spies.

Moyes was the right man for the job imo.

Certainly better than that clown Mourinho anyway.

I lurk on a United forum and I'd say 65/70% of the fans are against Moyes though, they don't think he's gonna be able to get the respect of the players (hence why he's brought Neville and Giggs in as coaches.)

For some reason I was thinking of managers, went through Zola and Di Matteo and gave up.

Yeah I knew about Bates. What's the story behind him thieving?

He constantly sold our better players and never replaced them, built hotels and casinos with the money or some of the money. The rest of it disappeared into one of his dodgy offshore tax haven accounts. The mans an arsehole, he should have stayed at Chelsea where he would have fitted in perfectly, surrounded by arseholes just like him, there's 38,000 arseholes in the crowd there every week, not to mention the mercenary arseholes on the pitch wearing that pathetic kit of theirs.

I'd slit his fat cockney throat and not lose a seconds sleep.

Yeah makes sense actually, I remember reading he was into the hotel business a while back I think. He tried something at Chelsea like that (Chelsea Village?)

The bit about selling top players and not replacing them and money going missing sounds like the Glazers

Good point about the Glaziers, but Man United deserve to be owned by a wanker don't they.

Yeah, agree with a lot of that, they do a lot of things to piss me off. Still, I think they've all just about had enough of Suarez. It is hard to turn against of your own, although quite frankly I am surprised how much they stuck with Suarez. Newcastle fans stuck with Carroll after assault charges and the like but he's just a daft Geordie rather than an outright racist c*** like Suarez. Still, he's not even half the footballer!

Yeah I don't care for Chelsea. They had some late blooming glory hunters around here as well, snore. But I'd always prefer them to get the title to Manure.

I like Arsenal too more than most but again...FA Cup final heartache, ****ing Anelka too.

Ahh see, I love these leeds fans

Congratulations for getting rid of your fat cockney bastard, but in my completely unbiased opinion our glorious leader is even worse than Bates. We succeed despite him and not because of him and last year was more his fault than Pardew's even if he did run out of ideas. Any goodwill Ash had built up he has shat on this summer, absolutely dreading next year. Never a dull moment though. Well apart from this transfer window where we are poised to sign precisely ****ing nobody whilst trimming the squad further.

Tekkers has handed in a transfer request.

Aston Villa have confirmed Christian Benteke has handed in a transfer request and the striker will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer is made 'within an appropriate timeframe'.
Disappointing, I despair at modern football. But we'd be in the Championship were it not for him so thanks for keeping us up you conker headed cunt.

I respect players that at least put in transfer requests. Some of them just cause disruption so they can still get a sell on bonus or whatever.

That is true.

He did however go on strike at Genk to force through a move to Villa.

Yeah, I'm afraid with players like that you just have to go with it and unless your a top side, expect to lose them at some point. Ba pulled the same trick at Hoffenheim and then had his cheeky clause at both Wham and us. Ben Arfa went on strike with Marseille but I'm still hoping we can resign him and ideally get a full season or two out of him...

Benteke was quality though, I assume this means you'll be keeping Bent?
