Hi guise. Post your predictions for the upcoming season, opportunity for bants in a year's time. One point for club predictions, 2 points for player predictions all the way through.
League winners: Chelsea Three other Champions League clubs: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal Three relegated teams: Hull, Stoke (please Jesus), Cardiff League Cup winners: Aston Villa FA Cup winners: Manchester United Champions League winners: Chelsea Europa League winners: Who cares World Cup winners: Argentina Golden Boot winner at World Cup: Neymar Where will England get knocked out? Pick as appropriate: Don't Qualify, Group Stages, 2nd Round, Quarter Finals, Semi Final, Final, They win it. (3rd or 4th place game would count as a semi final knock out): I don't actually think we'll qualify as we are awful under pressure but I'll keep the faith and go for the quarter-finals Premier League top goal scorer: Sexy Dutch bastard  Premier League top assister (I will use Premier League fantasy website for this bear it in mind... e.g winning penalties are assists): Juán Mata Then your own team predictions Team Supported: Aston Villa Finishing league position: 7th-12th I think. I'll say 11th Progression in League Cup: Desperately need a trophy so I'll go with winners after Bradford last season Progression in FA Cup: 5th round. Beat some minnows in 3rd & 4th then eliminated by the first decent team we face Elimination Point or Trophy Won in Europe: N/A Top League goal scorer: Benteke Top league assister (we will use Premier League fantasy website for this, same as above): Benteke Wild prediction for the upcoming season (5 points awarded for wild predictions, can't be the same as anyone else): Goal line technology gets a decision wrong and gives a goal that wasn't a goal or vice versa. |

My reasoning for Chelsea winning both is that I think the league is almost nailed on, we can slate Mourinho all day but the fact he's back there has already galvanised the club. They're going to get Rooney from United. If they don't get him I'll be stunned, and it'll basically be handing Chelsea the title if United do sell him. United won't get near the league imo, not with the current squad anyway.
As for the CL, they're one team I really, really don't want to win it so I can just see it happening now. You can lol but it would be typical Mourinho to stick it to Madrid and win what they crave same way he did it to Chelsea with Inter and Chelsea have the squad to do it and also the belief thanks to 2012. Madrid are a joke, doesn't matter who manages them, they haven't got close to it in over a decade now. |

Madrid will have a front four of Ronaldo, Bale, Isco and Oezil. Destroy teams in the CL. Expect they to win La Liga too.
And their best manager in years.
