"Meat pie, sausage roll...come on Oldham, give us a goal!"
You can't beat the FA Cup for shocks.

Pity for the Dons. Despite the scoreline it looks like they gave Barnsley a very good run for the money.

5-0, I'll take it!

Nice that Brendan had enough confidence to allow allen on to stretch his legs a bit once were 5 goals up too. HAW HAW HAW.

Do you reckon you're going in the right direction under Rodgers?

I hardly watch Liverpool these days, but from what I've seen Suarez/Sterling partnership looks good. I don't get the Sterling hype. At all. Just seems like a pacy winger with not much going for him other than pace.

Do you mean the sturridge/suarez? Yeah, if they both stay I'm happy.

Sterling was a (english!) winger that ran at and occasionally got past people! On the wing! At liverpool! Can you believe how refreshing that was compared to downing for the past 1 1/2 seasons, kuyt (who was great, but really not a winger), and babel? And he's really young, the excitement is his potential and willingness to go forwards (something we lacked earlier in the season). Not a first team quality yet IMO makes a few too many bad decisions, but has made enough good ones to get a couple of goals and assists. One for the future.

As for rodgers, he really should've bought in at least one experienced midfielder last window IMO. Just someone to help drag us through some of the scrappy games and force out a result. I said we shouldve got snejder, it's only now the windows shut and we lose to brom that he comes out and says we need experienced players! But coutinho seems to have instantly clicked as well and is still young.

I feel Rodgers should talk less though sometimes.

Is what I meant sorry. Typed Sterling as I was thinking about the other point at the same time.

I suppose when you put it like that it makes sense. But as he was breaking into the team he was being tipped as the next best thing and I've not really seen anything to justify that; someone like Oxlade-Chamberlain looks a lot more rounded, whereas Sterling is basically kick and run. I don't think he's particularly skillful, he's like another Ashley Young from what I've seen. Would you say that's a fair assessment?

Sturridge has done really well though. Seems to fit the team like a glove.

Yeah I was gonna say I watched bits of the 5-0 yesterday and Coutinho looked like he done alright. Didn't realise he was as young as he is.

Realistically do you think you'd have got Sneijder though? Seems like a prick who only really cares about the money.

Bricking it for the weekend game vs Saints... Just want this season to be over now and us to be safe...would have liked a run in the Europa but after we were robbed last week I don't think its worth the risk..
