Thought we played the best we have in ages (though that's not saying much) but as usual just couldn't hold on for the three points. A draw, given our current form, is not really bad but a point doesn't help you when you're falling out of the arse of the table!

Newcastle's new guys look the biz though!

Best I've seen Villa play in a long while and three points were desperately needed as well.

Newcastle may have turned a corner, that's now two victories on the trot for pardew's team.

It's very sad as Gazza seems to be an alcoholic. As a player, he appeared to be a prodigy, but fell into the wrong company. His real friends say he needs help and they are right.

Definitely an alcoholic but I think it's worse than that tbh, just seems like he is mentally ill and a drug addict as well. Best used to seem pretty normal on telly when he was sober but Gazza seems more troubled.

I don't think he will get better sadly.

Best seemed normal and had a liver transplant, but must have been severely troubled to have continued drinking. He died soon after. Both Best and Gazza were/are too sociable and easy going for their own good. They needed a firm hand, but were indulged by weak managers.

Unlike Best and Gazza, David Beckham seems to have done everything right, except in marrying Posh Spice. Best and Gazza both married good women and lost them.

Goddamn it reina.

Apart from that, Sturridge is a great buy, henderson's stepping up, gerrard returned to his best, the passing game is finally clicking ..... and allen being left out in favour of in form players!

Reina yes, bad mistake. But you can only stand and applaud in awe that sort of technique and skill, can't you?

Yea, that shot was just ridiculous....all in all there were some excellent goals over the weekend, gerrard, ageuro, bale. Plus my fantasy team was firing on all cylinders!

Still, reina shouldn't have been there to begin with grumble grumble...
