Bruce should be the one person capable of getting us ready for the game today and exactly what it meant to people. We didn't even show up. Had we turned up and gave it a shot and lost, fair enough. But that? That was embarrassing.

I remember the 3-1 at Maine Road and the 4-1 at Eastlands, both pretty much kick started our season - maybe the same will happen. It's not all doom and gloom if the players have a serious look at themselves.

Well done Geordies today. Thoroughly entertaining thrashing. I can't remember enjoying any promoted sides as much as I've enjoyed Newcastle, Blackpool and WBA this season. I hope they all stick around.
